The Sperryville Bridge Club met Friday night at the home of Mrs. Ruth Pillar.
Those playing were Mrs. Lucia Kilby, Mrs. Edna Metzinger, Mrs. Jean McNear, Mrs. Elisabeth Johnson, Mrs. Helen Brown, Mrs. Dot Estes, Mrs. Cotton Miller and Mrs. Miriam Reeve.
Prizes were awarded to Mrs. Metzinger, Mrs. McNear, Mrs. Johnson and Mrs. Reeve.
Joseph LeSueur celebrated his second birthday Nov.6 and was given a dinner on Sunday at the home of his parents Mr. and Mrs. Bernard LeSueur Jr. in Culpeper. Those attending were Rev. and Mrs. Bernard LeSueur of Culpeper, Rev. and Mrs. Terry Green and Brent of Unionville, Mrs. Judy Clark and Amanda of Washington, Miss Rhonda Clark of Front Royal, Mr. and Mrs. John Marshall Clark, Miss Ruth Fincham and Barbara C. Burke.
The Sperryville Business Council will meet on Sunday, Nov. 12 at 6 p.m. at Country Home Antiques with John and Rosemary Jenkins. All members and interested persons are urged to attend. ;
