Rappahannock News photo Lou Hatter THERE WERE NO INJURIES in this accident on U.S. 211 Monday evening. According to Trooper S.N. Knick, a 1984 Toyota pickup (front) driven by Garry W. Charles of Washington had stopped on the right shoulder to assist a van which had broken down in the median strip about one mile east of Massie’s Comer. A second pickup, driven by David D. Gray of Stanley, also westbound, slammed into the rear of Mr. Charles’ truck after Mr. Gray’s attention apparently was distracted by the van. Both trucks were totalled, and Mr. Gray was charged with reckless driving by Trooper Knick.
