Katherine Weakley tells us that Sherlock, the Weakleys’ bloodhound pup, was awarded a certificate of Satisfactory Completion on Friday, Nov. 3rd, after a ten-week basic training course in control and obedience. The award was made by Ms. Ginger Taylor of Strasburg, a very capable professional instructor. The course consisted of weekly supervised and instructional classwork '8(nd daily homework assignments. Ms. Taylor expressed much praise "for Sherlock. Katherine further com.Inented that Sherlock’s master Ker'mit was not the fast learner that Sherlock was, and he ended up with *3 bruised brain and sore, tired muscles, but no certificate.
The Kermit Weakleys were guests of Mrs. Glayds Dulaney of Luray on Saturday evening for Thanksgiving dinner at Mt. Zion Church. The church dinner is an annual affair. Other guests were Lawrence Huffman and Betty and Lynn Huffman of Luray.
