ihe two-hour tutorials are not all work and no play, however. Every so often, after a spell of quiet concentration by the students and their teachers, a burst of laughter erupts, followed by a buzz of friendly conversation.
Then, all is still again as the students turn their concentration back to their studies.
From time to time, the stillness in the old library is broken by softly spoken instruction given by one of the tutors to a students who has come up on a problem that is not completely understood.
After two hours of study, instruction, laughter and conversation, the end of the session comes unexpectedly soon and the students leave, ready to return for another session on the next Monday.
