Mrs. Gail Filyo of California, Md. spent several days last week with her parents Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Wood at Dun-Lookin.

The Arts and Craft Club held their regular monthly meeting with Mrs. Elizabeth Deane on Thursday evening with 13 members present.

Mr. and Mrs. Robert Thornhill of Grayson Hill were Saturday dinner guests of Mrs. Dicey Thornhill.

Mr. and Mrs. Scott Keithley of Broad Run were Sunday dinner guests of her parents Mr. and Mrs. Freddie Butler who also had as dinner guests Mrs. George Butler and Mrs. Carey Thornhill. Afternoon callers were Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Weakley of Remington, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Duncan and Miss Angie Butler.

Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Wood were among those from our area attending the Culpeper Memorial Day services on Monday originally scheduled to be held at the National Cemetery but because of rain were held atthe V.F.W. Hall.

Mrs. Edith Finstat of Smithfield is visiting her son-in-law and daughter Mr. and Mrs. David Allan Thornhill and family.

Mrs. Sam Lanham spent a recent week in Gurdon, Arkansas visiting her mother Mrs. T.C. Read.

Mr. and Mrs. H.C. Racey were recent guests of Mr. and Mrs. Holtzman Frazier in Fredericksburg. Mr. Frazier is improving following heart by-pass surgery.

The name of Mrs. Lottie Thornhill was omitted from the guest list attending the Thornhill-Deane birthday party last week and we regret the error.
