He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Inez Queen Jenkins; one son, Van Jenkins of Castleton; one brother, Marvin Jenkins of Rosslyn and three sisters, Audrey J. Jenkins of Reva, Pauline Latham of Viewtown and Peggy May of Culpeper.
A Memorial Service was held May 28 at the Remington Baptist Church with the Rev. Allan Mitchell of Richmond and the Rev. Joseph Anderson officiating. Interment was at the Remington Cemetery.
Pallbearers were John Durham, Roy Jenkins, Benton Keys, Irvin Mills, Mike Royal and Alton Willingham.
Clore Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Franklin Jenkins
Franklin Ashby Jenkins, 69, of Culpeper, died May 24, at Culpeper Memorial Hospital.
He was born in Culpeper on September 20, 1920, the son of the late James Ashby and Cora Marsh Jenkins.
He is survived by his wife, Maggie Jenkins of Culpeper Health Care Center; one step-son, Edward Cubbage of Culpeper; one step-daughter, Mrs. Lizzie Grigsby of Castleton; two sisters, Mrs. Eunice Meade of Culpeper, Mrs. Lucy Meade of Culpeper; and one brother, Jesse Lee Jenkins of Brandy Station.
A funeral service was held May 27 at Geest-Johnson Funeral Home,
