Bailey Sr.
Mr. Edward Homer Bailey Sr., of Washington, died May 25 at Culpeper Memorial Hospital.
He was a contractor.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Ethel T. Bailey of Washington; four daughters, Mrs. Mary Brown of Capital Heights, Md., Mrs. Anna Marie Davis of Washington, Mrs. Jeanette Rawls of Jenkintown, Pa. and Mrs. Patricia Norwood of Washington; one son, Robert H. Bailey of Luray; one sister, Viola Lawson of Amissville; 21 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Mr. Bailey was preceded in death by a son, Edward H. Bailey Jr.
Funeral services were held at the Mount Morris Baptist Church, Hume on May 30 with the Rev. Norman Campbell of Manassas officiating. Interment was in Mt. Moriah Baptist Church Cemetery, Amissville (Poles Rd.)
W.C. Thompson Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
