Rappahannock County High School senior Elizabeth Oliver was notified recently that she will receive a National Merit Scholarship.
Liz found out last fall that she was among 15,000 National Merit Semifinalists and this winter that she was among 14,000 finalists. While those honors carry a lot of prestige, she still did not know whether or not she would get any money.
