Jenkins Rudolph Acrey Jenkins, 67, of Remington, died May 25 at the University of Virginia Hospital. Mr. Jenkins, a native of Rappahannock County, was a member of the Remington Baptist Church where he served as a Deacon and a member of the Church’s Board of Trustees. He was also a charter member of VFW Post 7728; a member of the Bealeton/Remington Ruritan Club and a member of the Remington Volunteer Fire and Rescue Squad. A World War II Veteran, Mr. Jenkins retired after a 38 year career with the U.S. Defense Intelligence Agency.
