The winners will receive between $250 and $2,000 per year. Liz said that she had learned whe will receive $2,000 per year, as long as she keeps at least a 3.0 average. In addition she will get an extra grant of $2,500 for her freshman year to use to purchase the computer she is required to have for her study at Virginia Tech. She plans to major in architecture.
