Della E. Jenkins
Mrs. Della Elizabeth Jenkins, 77. of Sperryville, died May 23 at Culpeper Memorial Hospital.
Mrs. Jenkins was bom in Rappahannock County, the daughter of the late Hubert and Polly Atkins Jenkins. She was a member of Lighthouse Tabernacle in Nethers Mill.
She is survived by her husband, Ennis Smith Jenkins, Sr.; two sons, Ennis S. Jenkins, Jr. of Washington and James C. Jenkins of Sperryville; two daughters, Mary Catherine Atkins of Sperryville and Stella Mae Rutherford of Haywood; 13 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Frances Jenkins of Sperryville and Barbara Jenkins of Washington. She was predeceased by another son, the late Charles W. Jenkins.
A funeral was held May 26 at Geest-Johnson Funeral Home in Culpeper, the Rev. Charles Clinedinst officiated, with interment in Sperryville Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Robbie Smith, Jay Sisk, Ricky Jenkins, Opie Crawford, John Jenkins, Bill Baker, James Leake and Randolph Clater.
