BROKER OR SALESPERSON
What is the difference be tween dealing with a broker or a salesperson? Is there any savings when you deal with one or the other? A broker is a person licensed by the state to operate an indepentent real estate brokerage business. A salesperson, on the other hand, cannot act independently. A sales person must work for a broker.
In most states, a person must meet strict educational re quirements and pass a test to become a licensed salesperson. To become a broker, the salesperson is usually required to work under the supervisor of a broker from l to 5 years, take additional courses, and pass another examination.
Whether you deal directly with a broker, or a salesperson under a broker's supervision, the services offered by an agency and the prices charged for those services are usually the same.
We are proud of the extensive training our staff has received as well as their enthusiasm in continuing their real estate education.
