Richard Lee Settle and Tamara Jean Gilpin were united in marriage on Saturday, May 19 at Flint Hill United Methodist Church. The double ring cememony was performed by Rev. James Burke with traditional vows.
The bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ken Gilpin of Flint Hill.
The groom’s parents are Mr. and Mrs. W.R. Settle, also of Flint Hill.
The bridge given in marriage by her parents and escorted by her father wore a formal white satin gown which featured a princess style waist, beaded bodice, and high neck. The long puffed sleeves were accented with lace insets.
The bride’s father was in a full dress civil war uniform.
She carried a cascading bouquet of pink sweetheart roses, yellow roses and blue delphinium.
Teresa Gilpin of Flint Hill was her sister’s maid-of-honor.
Bridesmaids were Tammy Settle Bunch of Front Royal and Susan Doelman of Sperryville.
