The always popular “dope dealer and criminals.” We want these people behind bars and we are unwilling to put up more bars. Where is your leadership on this issue? Are you advocating laws against the proliferation of hand guns, or assault rifles, of mandatory testing of weapon familiarization. Are you educating your electorate on the need for more prisons and in your back yard?
And finally, Mr. Slaughter does not “have to apologize for his refusal to vote for spending taxpayer dollars to subsidize pornography disguised as art.” Mr. Slaughter was asked this question three times in a recent town meeting and we never did get a straight answer from him it finally came from his assistant. He does not support the funding of the National Endowment for the Arts. No one, no one supports pornography. Do you really believe that is the mission of the National Endowment? Have you visited any of the exhibitions supported by the National Endowment? Are you also advocating by inference that the Virginia Commission for the Arts cease funding various organizations and individuals?
