To the editor:
It was Delegate Raymond Guest’s letter to the editor which has finally prompted me to write, and specifically the phrase “tax and spend liberals.” Mr. Guest joins too many other politicians, journalists and commentators by grinding their particular and peculiar shaped axes rather than using their position of influence to educate.
What is needed is a cessation of the screaming rhetoric that comes from both sides of every aisle and an end to the self-serving statements emanating from White House in the name of statemanship, and a return to decency, respect and fair play.
