Mr. and Mrs. Shelvy Frazier returned home on Friday from a week’s trip to Georgia.

Our sincere condolences are sent out to Mr. and Mrs. Roger White and family upon the passing of their daughter Deborah Leigh White who died in Dallas, Texas on July 28th.

Mitchell Terry and his mother, Mrs. Irene Terry were in Virginia Beach last week when they attended the funeral of Mitch’s grandfather Mr. Leslie Terry on Friday.

Mr. and Mrs. Buddy Grigsby and family returned home Tuesday after the long weekend with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Dean in North Carolina.

Mrs. Janet Peregory and children attended a stork shower for Mrs. Belinda Shultz at the home of Mrs. Ernie Shultz in Manassas on Saturday.

Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Mills and family, Mr. and Mrs. Daniel Peregory and Loren, Mr. and Mrs. Johnny Bragg and Kelly and Mr. and Mrs. Joe Peregory and family were all in Middletown Sunday for a shrimp party at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Sammy Fendley and family that was hosted by Mr. and Mrs. Bill Peregory of Front Royal. They were joined for the party by Mr. and Mrs. Steve Stanaugle of Harrisonburg, Mr. and Mrs. Ernie Shultz of Manassas and Mrs. Lucille Peregory and Joel Peregory of Front Royal.

Mrs. Doris Ireland and Mrs. Cindy Thornhill have recently returned from visiting many cities in Russia and a cruise through Switzerland and Finland.

Mrs. Cary Thornhill, Mrs. George Butler and Mrs. George Johnston were luncheon guests on Sunday of Mr. and Mrs. Paul F. Butler and family.

Congratulations to Julie Powers who riding her pony, Tess, won fourth place in the Hunter Pleasure Pony Equitation and winning sixth place in Hunter Pleasure Horse which was held July 21 at the Northern District Show held at the 4-H Center.
