The second annual Luray Volunteer Rescue Squad parade will be held Tuesday, Aug. 21 at 5:30 p.m. Entries and registration may be made through parade chairman Jill Young. Tuesday is also 4-H and kids day, with all school-age children admitted free. Tickets for Midway Rides provided by Winchester - Amusement. Ride from opening to closing Tuesday and Thursday for $6 each night. 4-H events will begin at 9 a.m. and continue through the day.
The NTPA truck pull 4x4 and street trucks will begin at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 22. Information on this event may be obtained from Francis Huffman, (703) 743-5128 or 778-3273.
Thursday, Aug. 23, is the farm tractor pull, beginning at 7 p.m. Information is available from Francis Huffman.
Friday, Aug. 24, events will include the ever-popular demolition derby at 7 p.m. Contact Sam Griffith, (703) 743-3070 for derby information.
Saturday evening will feature the magic of Kevin Spencer.
Grandstand and bleacher admission fee will be $1 per show, on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. Season tickets at $10 for adults and $4 for children 6-12.
Daily admissions fees to the fairgrounds are $2.50 for adults and $1.50 for children. Parking will be free. Grandstand free on Sunday, Tuesday and Saturday.
