Dogwood anthracnose in Virginia is ocurring in a wide range of habitats, including forest, landscape and nursery situations.
The disease has been found in nursery dogwoods in Prince William and Fauquier counties, and in one of these nurseries, Kousa dogwood, which is reported to be resistant, was affected in addition to Comus florida, the flowering dogwood.
