Middle Street art classes

A Life Drawing class meets at the Gallery each Thursday from 7:30 p.m. until 9 p.m. A model is provided, each person should bring their own supplies. The fee is $10 per class. For information, call Dianne Waldron (675-3649). Tanya Richey offers a Watercolor Power class each Thursday from 1-3 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. at the Windflower Gallery. The class will explore new techniques in watercolor painting. The fee is $45 for members, $55 for non-members for five classes. For information, call 675-1113. On Saturday, Aug. 25 fiber artist Janet Kerig will lead a Weed Walk to identify and collect the many wildflowers and grasses that abound in Rappahannock County. Participants will learn to gather, preserve and arrange the plants. Bring a container and lunch.
