Mrs. Bucky Slater and her son Fletcher of Upperville were Sunday guests of her grandmother Mrs. Mattie Ball Fletcher.

Sunday afternoon visitors of Mr. and Mrs. Bobby Brown, Amanda and Bobbie Jo were Mrs. Vickie Beatty and sons Randy and Robbie of Point O’Woods, Front Royal. Mr. Beatty is attending school in Blacksburg for a week.

Happy birthday to Mrs. Ann C. Simmons who had a birthday on Tuesday, Aug. 21.

Best wishes to Bobby and Tansy Frazier in Castleton who celebrated their wedding anniversary on Sunday, Aug. 19.

We are happy to report that Tim Falls is recuperating nicely at his home in Woodville after having surgery in Fauquier Hospital.

Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Jenkins, Mrs. Susan Fitzgerald and daughter Sarah of Suffork and Mrs. Mary V. Updike spent the weekend in Beaver Falls, Pa. visiting with Nick Casico, a former coach at the old Washington school on Mt. Salem Avenue.
