Trooper Moore charged David M. Rowzie, 22, of Amissville, with reckless driving following a one-car accident last Wednesday on Route 643, 9/10 mile north of U.S. 211.
Rowzie, according to the accident report filed by Trooper Moore, failed to negotiate a curve, lost control of his 1982 Toyota pick-up, ran off the right side of the road and into a ditch, where the truck overturned.
Rowzie was pinned in the truck, and was extricated by members of the Amissville Volunteer Fire Department and Rescue Squad. He was taken to CMH, where he was treated for a minor head injury and released.
Charges are still pending in the fatal accident on Aug. 5 on U.S. 211 in Culpeper County, according to State Police spokeswoman Lucy Caldwell.
The driver of the car, Melodi A. Goldston, 26, of Manassas, has been released from the U.Va. Medical Center in Charlottesville, according to a hospital spokeswoman.
