The Rappahannoek-Rapidan Community Services Board announced the selection of C. Eldon Taylor to fill the vacant executive director position.

Mr. Taylor has been employed by the District 19 Community Services Board in Petersburg since 1979, and as the Director of Mental Health Services there since Nov. 1982.

His background in community mental health includes positions as staff psychologist, alcohol and substance abuse counseling, and consultation and education. In his current position, Mr. Taylor has supervisory responsibility for 90 employees including program management, budget and fiscal operations, quality assurance and information systems.

He is a licensed professional counselor and earned his graduate degree in clinical psychology from Virginia Commonwealth Univeristy after completing undergraduate studies at James Madison University in his native City of Harrisonburg.
