A new one-year program featuring college credit for on-the-job training in Human Services paraprofessional career fields will begin this fall at Lord Fairfax Community College. Applications for full-time and part-time candidates are being received now.
The program features on-the-job career training in such fields as child care assistant, public school teacher assistant, social work and psychological services assistant positions. The Human Services Certificate program also includes college credit courses for general education, human development, psychology, and related subjects during the fall and spring.
