This one-year certificate program was recently authorized by the Virginia Community College System to operate at LFCC in response to an increased demand for para-professionals in the human services career fields. The one-year certificate program is expected to attract a number of persons already employed as well as new students without job experience.
The program can be completed " within nine months for those who pursue their studies and on-the-job training on a full-time basis.
