Public Lands Day is an annual program which is held each year in September by all Federal agencies that manage lands. Shenandoah National Park will participate this year by working to clean up areas in the Park on Sept. 7 and 8. On Sept. 7, all Park staff will be involved in the cleanup activities, and on Sept. 8, Park staff will be available to assist the public who help with this effort.
Those wishing to participate should call so that Park officials can effectively plan for the assistance on Sept. 8.
