On behalf of the Rappahannock Lions Club, we especially thank the ndividuals, professionals and busilesses for their loyal support and for generously contributing toward the success of our 1992 Annual Benefit taction.
The auction was held Saturday, May 9 at the WVFD Hall in Washington and was attended by a heartwarming group of friends of the Lions Club.
This was a major fund-raising project that affords the Lions Club to support and contribute toward the many community and public service needs.
The gross proceeds realized amounted to $6,546.
Winners of raffle awards were: grand prize, Ridgeway grandfather dock, Todd Burdick, Flint Hill; second prize, Savage 112 FV rifle, Sue Campbell, Front Royal; third prize, previously-owned 20-gauge double barrel Ithaca shotgun, Ray Burke, Amissville; fourth prize, $100 cash, Lillie M. Pullen, Sperryville; and fifth prize, $50 cash, Reid Payne, Flint Hill. Congratulations to the winners.
