A few years ago the county was hoping the extension service would hire a third agent to handle 4-H programs. Now the county is hoping to hang onto the two ugents it has. Last year, the extension service was facing heavy cuts. Lobbying in the General Assembly resulted in Rinding for the position that runs through the end of June.
