The Rappahannock County High School Choir and Band will present its annual winter concert on Wednesday, Dec. 16. The concert will begin at 7:30 p.m. in the R.C.H.S. auditorium.
The R.C.H.S. Choir will perform many music selections including “Ukrainian Christmas Carol,” “Light the Candles of Freedom (a Song for Hannukkah)”, and “Mery Christmas, Mary” arranged by Carl Strommen. The R.C.H.S. Choir will be accompanied by Mrs. Beverly Clark of Front Royal.
This year the R.C.H.S. Band will perform several selections including seasonal favorites such as Leroy Anderson’s “Sleigh Ride.” One of the band’s favorite is the “Main Theme from Prince of Thieves.”
Concluding the performance, the R.C.H.S. Band and Choir will lead the audience in a “Christmas SingA-Long.”
