The Virginia Department of Forestry is again supplying loblolly and white pines for forest tree plantings.
4-H’ers doing forest establishment projects may order seedlings in amounts of 25 or 50; senior members with larger areas to plant may order multiples of 100. Delivery will be made for planting in Spring 1993.
The seedlings must be planted for future forest cover; no ornamental or yard trees.
Plantings should: (1) emphasize good forestry practices; (2) meet known country and state plantings needs; (3) stabilize a serious erosion
