Transplant group to meet
The Transplant Support Group meets at 7:30 p.m. on the first Thursday the month in the conference room of the Culpeper Baptist Church, 318 S. West Street. This group is for transplant recipients, potential recipients and their families.
All persons meeting the criterion above are invited to participate, whether or not they have previously attended a meeting.

The Rappahannock Library Board meets every fourth Thursday at 10 a.m. at the library. The public is invited to attend.
Free yoga classes
A loose and loyal group of yoga practitioners meet from 6-7 p.m. every Monday evening at the Middle Street Gallery. Support group to meet
“Working Through Grief,” a support group will meet every Tuesday morning at 11 a.m. The groups are structured to help each participant better understand and cope with his or her loss. If you or a loved one is in need of bereavement support, please call the Hospice office at 825-4840.
Tai Ji classes
Tai Ji (Tai Chi Chuan) is a Chinese movement art created for conditioning the body and relaxing the mind. As a martial art Tai Ji teaches the philosophy and body mechanics of yielding. This brief course of six months offers participants an introduction to Taoist principle, Chi Rung exercise and the basic Yang Short Form. There is no fee for the course and it is open to beginners as well as those with previous experience. Classes will be held Tuesday evenings beginning in January from 6-7:30 p.m. at the Workspace for Choreographers. For more information call Kathleen Maier at 636-3078.
CGVFD selling trees
The Chester Gap Volunteer Fire Deparmtent will be selling locally grown white pine Christmas trees at U.S. 522 and Cariser Road. Cost is $18 for any size and they will be selling them until Christmas Eve. For directions or further information call 636-7273.
Contest extended
