closings
The following businesses and county offices will have special hours during the Christmas season:
The county offices will be closed Dec. 24,25 and 31 and Jan. 1.
The Rappahannock National Bank in Washington will close at noon on Dec. 24 and will be closed Dec. 25. The bank will close at 2 p.m. Dec. 31 and be closed Jan. 1.
The Farmers and Merchants Bank in Flint Hill will close at noon on Dec. 24 and will be closed Dec. 25 and Jan. 1.
The Rappahannock Social Services Department will be closed Dec. 24,25, 31 and Jan. 1 as will the Rappahannock Health Department.
The Rappahannock Library will be closed Dec. 24, 25 and Jan. 1.
Area post offices will be closed Dec. 25 and Jan. 1.
Family Guidance Services of Rappahannock will dose at noon on Dec. 23 and 30 and will be closed Dec. 24, 25, 31 and Jan. 1. In case of an emergency, members of the staff will be on call and messages can be left by calling their answering machine at 675-3329.
The Rappahannock Newt will be dosed on Dec. 25 and Jan. 1.
