Board of Zoning Appeals members listened to almost five hours of testimony concerning the reopening of the ski area in Harris Hollow. After hearing proponents and opponents of expansion plans, BZA members felt they still didn’t know enough to either grant or deny a special use permit applicaton, Further, BZA member Hal Forward apparently believed that county citizens weren’t sufficiently informed on the exact nature of company president James Moore’s intention to reopen the financially troubled recreation area with year-round snowless sleding.
