The 4-H/LABO fundraising committee is pleased to announce that sales of the cookbook “Apples. . .Rappahannock Style" have gone extremely well. “We are very appreciative of the local orchards and merchants who let us put cookbooks in their stores to sell this fall,” stated Betty Smith, a member of the fundraising committee. 4-H’ers and their families have also sold books. The purpose of the fundraiser is to raise funds to support the four 4-H members from Rappahannock County who will participate in the 4H exchange program to Japan in 1993.
