RCES PTO meeting

Cattle conferences planned
1993 Stocker Cattle conferences on “Marketing Grass Profitably Through Yearlings” will be held Tuesday, Jan. 19 at Holiday Inn in Wytheville and Wednesday, Jan. 20 at Evers Restaurant in Harrisonburg. Registration fee is $15/person which includes lunch and proceedings. Pre-register by Jan. 13. Contact the Extension Office at 675-3619 if you would like to receive a registration form.
Volunteers needed
The Community Dialysis Center in Culpeper is looking for volunteers with 4-wheel drive vehicles who could bring patients to treatment when the weather is bad. For more information please call 8259332.
Program at Library
The Jan. 8 First Friday program at the Rappahannock Library will be “Facing Tough Challenges: Russia Today.” The speaker is career diplomat Jon Purnell, an expert on U.S.-Russian relations.
