Shelter manager Lisa Reid and other representatives of the RapLeague
told the Board of Supervisors last week that the county’s payment only covers about onethird of the cost of operating the shelter.
In 1992 the county contributed $5,400 to RAWL to operate the shelter. The contribution was increased from $400 per month to $500 per month in July with the beginning of the fiscal year. Oper:k
