"Spring cleaning" day set
April is just around the bend and that means warmer weather, springtime flowers, the Fodderstack 10K, Earth Day, and the semiannual community trash pick-up! Saturday, April 17 will be the day that local citizens can work together to “spring dean" our roads, yards, basements, back porches and sheds of all the paper, glass, metal and other trash we’ve accumulated over the winter.
Start soon to think about how you would best like to help, and if you have an “adopted highway”, begin organizing your crews toward a “pick-up party” date. Keep your eyes on the paper for more about this and local or vegional Earth Day activities. Contact Hunt Harris at 6751436 or 347-2334 for further information or input.
