Virginia Estes

Virginia Settle Estes, 70, of Washington died March 8 at Fauquier Hospital.

Mrs. Estes was bom in'Rappahannock on March 17, 1922 daughter of the late Robert and Eliza Elliot Settle.

She is survived by a,sister-in-law Mrs. Elizabeth Settle of Washington; one niece Betty Moulis of Silver Spring, Md.; two nephews Jimmy Settle of Washington and William Settle of Woodbridge; a number of great-neices and nephews and a number of great-great neices and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, March 11 at the Sperryville United Methodist Church with the Rev. Merlin Shorb officating. Interment will be in the Washington Masonic Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 7-8 p.m. at Clore Funeral Home.

Clore Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
