There is an eight-minute interval between the second and third-grade classrooms. This means that there is a five-minute time between when the first first-grade classroom leaves its two tables and when the first third-grade classroom gets to use them.
Third-grade classes are followed by sixth-grade classes, then fourthgrade classes, then seventh-grade classes, then fifth-grade classes, and finally kindergarten classes. These youngest children have four minutes to get through the lines, and eat last because they have a morning snack. The last kindergarten class is scheduled into the cafeteria between 1:10 and 1:40 p.m.
