Funeral services were held March 7 at W.C. Thompson Funeral Home Chapel. Interment was in the Grigsby Family Cemetery, Washington, Va.
Mrs. Holmes is survived by one brother Robert Holmes of Edison, New Jersey; a number of cousins and a number of nieces and nephews.

Mrs. C. Marie Shaw, 90, of Castleton died March 7 at Culpeper Memorial Hospital.
She was born in New York, NY on Aug. 29,1902.
Mrs. Shaw was a retired legal secretary and a member of Mt. Lebanon Baptist Church.
She was the daughter of the late Christian A. and Katherine Baust Kleffmann.
Mrs. Shaw was the wife of the late W. Richard Shaw.
She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law Howard and Helen Holschuh of Castleton; one granddaughter and two great grandchildren.
