Mary Atkins
Mrs. Mary Nessel Atkins, 94, of Sperryville died March 7 at Culpeper Memorial Hospital.
She was bom in Rappahannock County on Dec. 27, 1898 daughter of the late Isaac Franklin and Mary Dodson Clater.
Mrs. Atkins was a member of Reynolds Memorial Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband Carlton E. Atkins and a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 10 at Reynolds Memorial Baptist Church with the Rev. Tom Von Fange and Rev. A. Paul Thompson. Interment will be in the Sperryville Cemetery.
Pallbearers are Wilson Burke, Cecil Atkins, Donald Gore, Wayne Carwile, John R. Eubank Jr., Randolph Clater, C.E. Dodson and Julian S. Brown.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Reynolds Memorial Baptist Church.
