Each fourth grade class is spending some time on the computer to learn about multiplication. The students like using the technology developed by the Next Century Schools Project.
On Thursday, March 11, through Wednesday, March 17, from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily, Rappahannock County Elementary School Library will sponsor a Scholastic Book Fair, presenting a wide variety of books for students at all levels. Proceeds from the Fair will benefit the school library, but the real profit lies in introducing children to the magic of books and encouraging them to be lifelong readers.
Mark Sunday, March 21, on your calendars. The Rappahannock Woman’s Club’s Fashion Show, An American Heritage, will benefit the RCES Playground Fund, in addition to the annual scholarship. The Fashion Show will be held at 2 p.m. at Rappahannock County High School.
