In a second part to that conference, Wolf said that “we’re having about 20 or so large contractors .... They’re going to put on a program and tell how they sub-contract. They’ll come in and bid on a contract and then have to sub it out. So here’s a chance to deal with these people and get on their list to be a sub.
“It may be a sub as a plumber, it may be a sub as a printer, as a computer operator. There is no other opportunity like this,” Wolf explained.
The congressman is also sponsoring a conference in Front Royal on May 10, this one designed to develop strategies for promoting the region, particularly to foreign tourists.
