Mr. Cunningham noted, “It’s extremely important for fanners to realize that if they did not participate in the 1991 survey that they contact the Extension Office immediately in order to be eligible to participate in the Cleanup Day. Only farmers who contact the Extension Office before June 1, 1993, will be qualified to have their unusable pesticides removed.”
The County Agent stressed the importance of the program and wanted to lay the rest any concerns farmers may have regarding regulatory action.
