to hear public
Richmond - The Virginia Board of Education has reserved time on its agenda to hear comments from the public.
The nine-member board recently started the comment period in order to hear concerns and issues directly from the public. The board is responsible for setting policy for the Kindergarten through 12th grade public school system.
Because of time limitations, comments will be limited to three minutes for individuals and five minutes for group representatives. Anyone wishing to address the Board should write or call:

The Board of Education meets monthly, usually in Richmond. The remainder of scheduled meeting dates this year are: March 25, April 19-21 (annual planning retreat), May 27, June 24, and July 29.
