Joseph Jenkins
Joseph Turner Jenkins, 70, of Friendship-Ledfored Road, Winston-Salem, N.C., died Tuesday, March 16.
The funeral was conducted March 18 at the Hayworth-Miller Silas, Creek Chapel in Winston-Salem by the Rev. Paul Wonders. Burial was in Parklawn Memorial Gardens in Winston-Salem. “/Mr. Jenkins was born June 10, 1922 in Rappahannock County, son of the late Amos Franklin and Ila Nicholson Jenkins. . He was a carpenter and a selfemployed barber in Stephens City until his retirement in 1983. He was a member of Anitoch Baptist Church. , Surviving are his wife, Juanita Jenkins; two daughters, Deloris Loy of Stephens City and Teresa Bowers of Winchester; a stepson, Tim Maloney of Clemmons, N.C.; three sisters, Della Pyne and Mary Slyman, both of Front Royal, and Nellie Balman of Strasburg; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Elizabeth Moore
Elizabeth Virginia Woodward Moore, 88, of Front Royal died Tuesday, March 16 at Rutherford’s Rest Home in Front Royal.
Graveside services were conducted March 19 in Prospect Hill Cemetery by Elder Gary Utz.
Mrs. Moore was bom Nov. 22, 1904, in Amissville daughter of the late Charles Henry and Viola Belle Woodward.
She was employed by the Silk Mill in Front Royal during World War II and was a members of the Happy Creek Baptist Church. She was the wife of the late John Moore.
Surviving are a son, Garrison
