To the Editor

It is a loss to law enforcement, the fire and rescue servies and to the community that Connie Huff-Harris is no longer working as a dispatcher for the Sheriffs Department.

During the nine years that Connie worked in this position I have had the opportunity to work with her for a short time in the Sheriffs office during the implementation of the dispatch program, and for the remainder of the time as a member of the fire and rescue service.

Every contact that I have had with Connie has been positive. Her manner is always professional, kind, well informed and knowledgeable with regards to her job performance. Connie interacts in a calm, controlled manner, and she is able to obtain and give information in a clear and concise way.
