Students become armchair travelers who are able to stop the live programs at any time and ask direct questions of museum curators, scientists, musicians, actors, politicians, and many prominent experts from various fields.
These programs, produced by Fairfax County Public School through the Virginia Department of Education, are provided free of charge to all Virginia residents. Students, teachers, and other interested individuals need only register to become part of this new, educational technology.
Virginians are invited to travel to the Smithsonian National Zoo during VSEN’s Electronic Field trips on March 23 and 31. These programs will feature the Cheetah Conservation Station and studies of other endangered species.
