On Saturday night, the stars shine brightly at The Theatre as John McCutcheon brings his multidimensional talents to the stage with a full concert presentation (8 p.m.). The Grammy nominee will be playing hammer dulcimer (this area’s favorite), autoharp, banjo, fiddle, guitar, jaw harp, and other instruments traditional to the Appalachian region, all expressing the heart of America’s rural sounds. Opening the concert will be Paul Reisler and Martha Sandefer of Trapezoid, performing songs from their new recording inspired by life in rural communities. Tickets are $10 in advance, and $12 at-the-door.
