George Ratcliffe

George C. Ratcliffe, 83, of Amissville died Sept. 28 at the Fauquier Hospital in Warrenton.

Mr. Ratcliffe was born in Charleston, W.Va. on Jan. 8, 1910.

He was a carpenter of construction.

Survivors include his wife, Dorothy L. Ratcliffe of Amissville; two sons,' Richard C, Ratcliffe of Amissville and Barry R. Ratcliffe of Rixevville; two daughters, Linda Cook of Roanoke and Kathy Frazier of Amissville and nine grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Saturday, Oct. 2 with graveside rites in Radford.

Interment was in Rockford Cemetery in Pulaski County.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, 4217 Park Place Court, Glen Allen, Va.

Moser Funeral Home in Warrenton was in charge of the arrangements.
