W.D. North, Sr.
William Douglas North Sr., 60, of Front Royal died Saturday, Oct. 2 at the Warren Memorial Hospital.
A graveside service was conducted Tuesday, Oct. 5 in the Willis Chapel Cemetery by the Rev. Jimmy Burke.
Mr. North was bom June 25, 1933, Rappahannock County, son of the late Mamie North.
He was a foreman for Hazel Construction Company.
Surviving are his wife, Leta Jean North; two sons, William D. North Jr., and William A. Smoot, both of Front Royal; two daughters, Wanda Faye Ramirez and Betty Lynn Lambert, both of Front Royal; a brother Bedford L. North of Hiintly and two grandchildren.
